Project Officer Modern Trade – Head of Sales

Project Officer Job Responsibilities
Coordinate meetings with counterparts (Government entity, development partners, etc.) with instruction from
Representatives
Participate in meetings and take minutes of meeting
Collect, analyze and assess information on infrastructure/transport sector and report to Representatives
Offer supportive feedback to both within and counterparts including Development Partners
Draft letters under instruction of Representatives
Support and promote of project monitoring works, including disbursement of funded projects
Assist with PR in the infrastructure sector
Any other related matters as requested by Representative or his appointed personnel
Requirements for the Project Officer Job
University graduate
Over three years’ total working experience
Computer literate and fully conversant with MS Office especially good command of MS Excel, WORD and PPP is required
Good command of mathematics and calculation
Ability to prioritize work as well as recognize and adhere to deadlines
Excellent and self‐organizational ability
Amiable personality with a positive attitude, excellent communication/public relations skills, able to maintain very good interpersonal relationships.
Excellent command of the English language with ability to draft and correct official correspondence as well as take minutes
High level of initiative and capable of working independently or with minimal supervision and making decisions when necessary
Reliable and responsible and able to effectively assist superiors in demanding tasks
Capable of handling all sorts of logistical arrangements
Good understanding of project management cycle (PDCA)
(Desirable) Track working experience in the public sector in Kenya
(Desirable) Track working experience in infrastructure sector (transport and/or electricity)in Kenya
(Desirable) Track working experience at international organization
