Project Manager

Purpose     
The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of assigned projects. They will also create project plans, budgets, maintain project documentation, create detailed reports, and work closely with the other stakeholders and project teams on a daily basis to ensure project progress and maintain constant communication.
Responsibilities     

Involved in managing, reviewing, and prioritizing the day-to-day project activities with an objective to stay on time and under budget, as well as managing the project resources.
Responsible for status and executive reporting, project communication management, and stakeholder management.
Responsible for providing support in troubleshooting of IT systems.
Provide technical know-how to implement and support the bank’s improvement initiative in regards to information technology across the region.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Competencies and Experience     
Prior Experience

At least 5 years of hand-on experience managing IT projects in a busy environment.
Strategic in approach: understands and addresses inter-dependencies and real issues
Clear definition of requirements (tested by real customer requirements) and timetables.
Experience managing to deliverables and milestones: on time/within budget/meeting business needs.

Education     

Undergraduate Degree in I.T/ Computer Science
