Project Management Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project management Coordinator to join our growing Health Research Practice team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of our health research projects, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, while also actively seeking out new research opportunities for the health research vertical.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Coordinate all aspects of assigned health research projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and client requirements.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and task lists.
Track project progress, identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams (e.g. research analysts, data collection specialists) involved in the project.
Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
Generate project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Client and Partner Communication:

Manage communication with clients, researchers, and other project stakeholders.
Maintain clear and accurate project documentation for reference and audit purposes.
Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, ensuring effective communication and information sharing.
Assist in the development and negotiation of project proposals. 

Research Opportunity Identification:

Proactively research and identify potential new research opportunities in the healthcare sector, such as RFPs and grants.
Analyze market trends and client needs to identify areas of research interest.
Assist in the development and preparation of proposals for new research projects. 

Additional Responsibilities:

Manage project databases and ensure accurate data entry.
Stay up to date on relevant research methodologies and best practices.
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of research participants (if applicable).
Travel to client sites or research locations as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in public health, Health Sciences, Community Health, Social Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, research administration, or a similar role.
Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with the health research industry (a plus).
