Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director, Law Division, the consultant will perform the following tasks:
Facilitate first consultation on the structure and outline of the project document, and provide a writeup of the consultation.
Draft the Theory of Change and Logical Framework for the project.
Conduct second consultation based on Theory of Change and Logical Framework for the project.
Submit draft of the Project Document based upon Theory of Change and Logical Framework and consultations.
Conduct third consultation based on the draft project document.
Submit final draft of the project document.
Qualifications/special skills
An advanced university degree in international relations or a related field is required.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive working experience in project management, project design, programme evaluation, management consulting or a related field is required.
Knowledge of Theories of Change and Logical Framework project design, development, implementation and evaluation is required.
Previous experience advising United Nations entities on project design is desirable. Excellent research and drafting skills; organization and consultation management is desirable.
Direct working experience in environmental law and in project management is desirable.
