Overview
The Program Manager will be responsible for providing technical and managerial oversight to various projects. Working closely with project teams and the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) department, the Program Manager will ensure that projects adhere to approved work plans and deliverable timelines. As the key liaison between the organization and the County Health Management Teams, the Program Manager will foster strong partnerships and facilitate smooth project execution at the county level. Additionally, they will actively contribute to new business development efforts by identifying potential opportunities and supporting proposal development.
Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in public health, social sciences, medicine, and other related areas
Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management on SRHR, including maternal health and family planning policy and
Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies, including planning, budgeting, monitoring, and Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) will be an added advantage
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire
Experience working in diverse cultural settings and a strong understanding of cross-cultural
Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to various
Proven ability to identify and resolve problems
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish and maintain partnerships with government officials, donors, NGOs, and other
