Job Purpose
This position is responsible for supporting accounting teams with various accounting projects and tasks in line with the Finance Policies.
Responsibility
Shadowing the finance team in performance of duties
Assist in maintaining of records accurately
Recording and maintaining up to date assets and inventory registers
Assist in audit preparations
Support in petty cash management
Ensuring that timesheets are correctly filled and filed on a timely manner
Taking on additional finance and administration tasks as required to learn more about accounting and finance operations
Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
Maintains open communication and positive working relationship with staff.
Perform other duties/projects as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in any relevant field
ACCA or CPA
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and collaboration skills.
Creative, resourceful and eager to learn.
Ability to thrive working collaboratively with both senior colleagues
Knowledge of sign language is an added advantage but not essential
