Production Machine Operator
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the production lines operates efficiently and safely, producing high-quality products in line with Good Manufacturing Practice, Health & safety using appropriate techniques and equipment, adherence to departmental written procedures and completion of necessary documentation.
Main Activities/Tasks
Understand and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety policies.
Operating and maintenance of production equipment in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures including automated equipment and computerized system for filling, capping and packing machines.
Manufacturing high quality products using approved processes within a manufacturing-controlled environment.
Comply with all aspects of the Quality Management System.
Completion of all documentation associated with the operation and manufacturing of a product in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (Production control records and logbooks.
Ensuring work areas are always audit ready.
Any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities for Career Success
Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of two years’ experience operating a production machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles will be an added advantage.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must be able to work in various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
