The Production and CEHS Supervisor oversees daily production operations while ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance. This dynamic role combines leadership in production management with expertise in EHS practices, creating an efficient, safe, and sustainable work environment.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Production Management:
Lead, supervise, and support the production team to meet operational goals and maintain quality standards.
Assign daily tasks, organize work schedules, and manage workloads for optimal efficiency.
Monitor performance to ensure output meets productivity and quality benchmarks.
Conduct performance evaluations, resolve issues, and foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.
Compliance, Environmental, Health, and Safety (CEHS):
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS strategies, policies, and procedures.
Conduct regular risk assessments, update risk registers, and enforce preventive measures to minimize accidents and hazards.
Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. Maintain comprehensive incident and accident reports.
Organize and deliver safety training programs, maintaining up-to-date training matrices.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including maintaining relevant certifications and licenses.
Assist in the planning and implementation Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Systems while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Training and Development:
Facilitate on-the-job training for new team members, addressing skill gaps to enhance performance.
Foster a safety-first culture through proactive awareness campaigns and continuous staff engagement.
Compliance and Reporting:
Monitor and enforce compliance with company standards, policies, and statutory obligations.
Provide accurate and timely updates on production and EHS metrics to management.
Collaborate with the procurement team to secure appropriate equipment and maintain inventory levels of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Problem-Solving and Continuous Improvement:
Address operational and safety concerns effectively and in real time.
Promote innovative ideas and participate in cross-functional discussions to enhance workflows.
Act as the key liaison between production and management for smooth communication and integration of objectives.

Minimum Qualifications, Regulatory & Legal Requirements
Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health Sciences, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant EHS experience.
Nebosh Certification
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, risk management frameworks, and production workflows
Experience working in Manufacturing, Construction, and Oil & Gas.
