Role Profile
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager (PM) to spearhead the creation of business value and growth through product and technology. At Kyosk, product managers collaborate closely with business leaders and head of departments to deliver a product strategy and product roadmap that creates tangible business value, whether in terms of increased revenue or reduced costs.
The Product Manager we are looking for will be particularly focused on the digitization and automation of our Support Functions, in particular Finance, Accounting, Purchasing, and Human Resources. However, we are first and foremost looking for a candidate with expertise and competence in product management, someone who would be able to apply product management principles to any domain or industry.
As PM you will need to innovate on behalf of your colleagues, based on a deep understanding of users’ pain points as well as business needs and priorities. You will utilize metrics to measure and effectively manage the deployment of solutions that optimize various customer-facing apps.
To be successful in this role you will need to be detail-oriented, able to surface relevant business analysis, and an analytical problem solver. You will need to think and act fast, deal with ambiguity, and be able to develop ideas into scalable products that work on a Pan-African scale.
This is a rare opportunity to impact not just the future of Kyosk, but the future of digital service delivery across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership: Own your specific product roadmap. Define what needs to be built in line with the company’s objectives and product strategy for your product line by ensuring product/market fit and creation of business value (revenue growth, cost reduction, reduced risk). You will be responsible for defining, updating, and delivering the product strategy.

Identify and prioritize product and tech-driven solutions based on business KPIs. Collaborate with Heads of Business Units and Country Directors to develop product-driven strategies, in order to spearhead business growth via product and technology.

Product launches should be executed in an agile manner, i.e. bringing the product to market quickly, starting on a small scale. Clear KPIs and targets should be set for every launch. Data should be gathered and monitored from inception, so that the effectiveness of the solution can be immediately measured, and further iterations can be delivered in a swift cadence.
User Journey Analysis: Identify the end to end user journey for all the key personas, operations, and activities within your domain, and use the user journey to identify where gaps and inefficiencies are, which can be tackled by product-led solutions. After identifying the gaps, use data to understand which problems need to be prioritized. Identify the best solution to the prioritized problems, both in the short and in the long term. Base your solution identification on a business impact vs feasibility matix.
