Product Manager, Integrated Diagnostic Solutions East & West Africa

Job DescriptionReporting to theBusiness Leader/Hub Leader Life Sciences East Africa, the newly created role of Product Manager – Integrated Diagnostic Solutionswill be responsible to develop, implement and execute marketing plans in line with the marketing budget. You will co-develop and implement the strategy to build products’ brand awareness as well as implement global product strategy locally in line with the local market requirements. You will support making brand a competitive weapon by building brand awareness in target groups – To make brand a competitive weapon by building brand awareness in target groups – nurses, doctors, hospital management, distributors, KOLs (Key opinion leaders).Key Responsibilities

Participating actively in formulating and ensuring the implementation of brand strategies and tactics to generate sales growth in the market
Assuring meaningful and actionable market knowledge and insights/analytics in the market
Contributing to demand forecast in close collaboration with local management and other local functions
Interacting with regional strategic marketing to validate local strategy
Contributing to financial budgeting, forecasting in close collaboration with local management and other local functions

Education And Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) professional certification will be an added advantage
Minimum 4 years of brand management experience within the healthcare sector, encapsulating progressive achievements across a multi-discipline environment.
Well experienced within the healthcare environment preferably with experience of medical devices/instrumentation, demonstrate strong strategy and forecasting skills.
Demonstrate strong business acumen (including ability to analyze information and make recommendations to management)
Collaborative and team player, with ability to work closely with diverse teams (geographical & cultural)
Strong strategic thinker who anticipates trends and competitor activity
Strive for continuous improvement in self, others and in processes and procedures
Show a strong aptitude for dealing with ambiguity
