Job Description
To oversee the product management for assigned brands and be responsible for developing and implementing approved marketing plans that drive equity awareness, penetration and profitability
Specification
To manage the product management process for the assigned brands in terms of product launches, Product marketing communication, Positioning, Pricing strategy, Maximizing contribution and ensuring required product penetration is achieved in the defined market segments.
To coordinate and execute all marketing communication plans for assigned products
Execute agreed advertising plans across various media platforms, measure effectiveness and capture feedback on Marcom programs.
Implement focused marcom programs for various stakeholders like Architects, Building Engineers & Surveyors, contractors and Roofing installers.
Develops new product ideas, changes and activities which contribute towards achieving brand objectives and enhance brand equity.
To oversee the long term product development plans, conduct timely review and ensure the execution as per approved plans.
To plan and implement various promotional activities and campaigns for MRM products including all Below the Line programs including trade schemes, exhibitions, and professional engagements.
Solicits brand sponsorships for relevant events and activities in line with the brand profile
Generates advertising briefs and objectives to the agencies for various brand advertising campaigns
Determines gaps in the market and seeks ways to fill them with the information derived from research.
Monitors competition while developing brand game plans to enhance brand equity and counter the competition
Continually develop Roofing Solutions through combination of product and service offerings and creating differentiation in the market.
Requirements
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or an equivalent
MBA will be an added advantage
At least 7 years relevant working experience with 5 years in a similar role
At least 3 years’ experience in the Manufacturing/FMCG or related consumer industry
Knowledge in international trade, marketing concepts, strategy development/deployment and commercial processes/practices is required
