A DAY IN THE LIFE
You will be responsible for:
Performing process validations and controls for formulation during launches, pilot batches and industrial trials.
Performing product stability and compatibility tests for first commercial productions.
Coordinating and overseeing process optimization projects.
Performing analysis of bulk and management of deviations.
Performing investigations of process nonconformities.
Act as technical consultant to assist processing of bulks to the processing operators.
Ensuring the quality fundamentals of plant by managing and enforcing the compliance to ISO, GMPs, DGO regulations and KEBS requirements.
Collaborating with cross functional teams to support the plant strategies, priorities and ensure the quality culture and compliance across the plant.
Providing onboarding, training, coaching, development, and support to ensure all employees are competent in the areas of quality.
Managing active formulations in ERP system and raw material catalogue.
Developing method of operation or method of manufacturing as per specification of production.
Collaborating with safety, operations, and quality to complete risk assessment to review and mitigate risks associated with new formula production.
Execute process validations and publish results as per the validation protocols.
Carry out launch management to track new products to ensure product availability date.
Actively engage in safety, quality, and performance initiatives in the plant.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science degree in a Technical discipline (industrial chemistry, Industrial engineering, chemical & processing engineering).
Ability to perform the quality control, material release, nonconformance, preventative maintenance action, document & data control process and calibration process.
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of and ability to use relevant laboratory tools and equipment.
Ability to manage and collaborate with teams.
