Policy, Partnerships & Advocacy (PPA) Intern Assistant, Community Partnerships

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Partnerships, Policy and Advocacy, the Intern, Partnerships, Policy & Advocacy(PPA) will support in coordinating logistics for travels, meetings, training, and other events within the department to assist the team in fulfilling their overall responsibilities while at the same time learning on policy and advocacy work. This is an apprenticeship position and will run for six (6) months.

Responsibilities

Coordinate logistics, communications, and other preparations like travel, training, or other events as needed by following through the procurement and finance regulations, rules, and procedures.
Coordinating the department’s administrative errands
Activity and meeting scheduling
Meeting notetaking and document formatting
Organizing, filing, scanning, and photocopying of documents
File and archive all contracts, research, and training material developed and ensure its easy access to all members of the team.
Manage the asset log and movement of PPA equipment.
Any other task that may be assigned by the Senior Manager, PPA.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree, required, degree in related field preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel.
Ability to multi-task and follow up on tasks to completion.
Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships and work as part of a team.
Exceptional high level of honesty and integrity
Highly organized and attentive to details
