Job Responsibilities
Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality and compliance.
Unblock sinks and sewages when there is a blockage to ensure good and clean environment.
Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure plumbing equipment and fixtures are functioning efficiently.
Check functionality of water heating system and service when it’s due.
Assist in extension of water pumping systems to other sections of the hospital.
Maintain an appropriate record of repairs and replacements.
Ensure that there is good flow of water from the main tank to all other areas.
Assist in checking the flow of water in all sections in the hospital.
Analyze problem and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair.
Locate and repair issues with water supply e.g leaks
Assist in developing, constructing, repairing and maintaining basic water storage.
Any other duties as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Minimum certificate in a plumbing course.
At least 2 years’ hands on relevant experience.
