What you can expect
The successful candidate will be expected to support the production team in meeting the production strate-gy, transfer / add liquid and powder raw material to admixture plant as per production requirements, fill drums / IBC / Jerrycans with finished product.as per requirement, assist Production Supervisor in the oper-ation and housekeeping of the plant and ensuring the products produced meet the BASF Standards. Core responsibilities will include the following:
Ensuring that activities are executed in accordance with company policy on Environmental and Occu-pational Health and Safety to ensure that a responsible and safe working environment is maintained always
Transferring of materials into IBCs/Drums and labelling with correct label
Identifying process deviations and undertaking RCA to correct
Ensuring that Admix plant adheres to Safety and environmental procedures
Participating in Product changeover
Monitoring, inspecting and cooperating with maintenance regarding all equipment to minimize and prevent down time
Reporting any unsafe conditions to Supervisor
Performing Housekeeping of the plant
Interaction and cooperation with relevant internal parties / service units
Ability to work in a challenging work environment and on-the-job training as part of a committed team
What we expect
Diploma (Highly preferred in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or other relevant qualification)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Forklift driving license is an added advantage
Good oral and written communication skills – Fluent English (written and oral)
Basic HMI skills in SCADA and troubleshooting
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
Computer Skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and SAP
