Physiotherapist

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities

Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop customized treatment plans.
Administer therapy sessions using techniques such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and advanced modalities.
Educate patients and families on rehabilitation, injury prevention, and home care.
Document and track patient progress in line with hospital policies and regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.

Revenue Generation

Promote physiotherapy services to doctors, corporate clients, and insurance companies to increase patient volume.
Develop specialized services, including sports rehabilitation, workplace ergonomics, and pediatric physiotherapy.
Enhance patient retention through follow-ups,
Collaborate with Business Development to create wellness packages and outreach programs.
Recommend additional treatments to benefit patients and boost revenue.
Track and report physiotherapy revenue, ensuring targets are achieved.

Operational Responsibilities

Maintain physiotherapy equipment and facilities for efficient use.
Participate in hospital events, outreach, and marketing initiatives.
Comply with hospital protocols and safety standards. Mentor junior physiotherapy staff and interns.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT)
Registered and licensed by the by Physiotherapy Council of Kenya(PCK)
Minimum 3 years in a hospital or clinical setting, with experience in revenue-generating activities being an advantage.

Skills:

Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Proficiency in promoting healthcare services and patient engagement.
