Our client, a leading organization in the Energy Sector, is seeking a People Operations & Workspace Manager to drive a high-performance culture, enhance employee experience, and optimize HR operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, HR expertise, and the ability to create an efficient, well-organized, and engaging workplace.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
People Operations & HR Strategy:
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives to enhance employee experience and productivity.
Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
Leverage HR analytics to track workforce metrics, inform decision-making, and improve HR efficiency.
Optimize HR processes through automation and technology, ensuring seamless HR service delivery.
Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture:
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that enhances employee engagement and retention.
Lead employee experience initiatives, including wellness programs, recognition frameworks, and culture-building activities.
Mediate and resolve employee relations issues to maintain a harmonious work environment.
Workspace & Facilities Management:
Ensure a safe, functional, and productive workplace environment, supporting both in-office and hybrid work models.
Oversee office facilities, workplace policies, and vendor management to maintain high operational standards.
Implement ergonomic solutions and workplace well-being initiatives to enhance employee comfort and performance.
Compliance & HR Service Delivery:
Ensure adherence to Kenyan labour laws, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Handle employee queries, HR administration, and policy implementation to maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in HR, people operations, or workplace management.
Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM, CIPD) is an added advantage.
Strong expertise in HR systems (HRIS, SAP, Oracle) and HR analytics tools.
Proven ability to optimize HR workflows, drive engagement, and manage workplace operations.
Experience in the energy, manufacturing, or industrial sector is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR compliance.
