Payroll Officer (Kenyan only)

About the job

To Supervise & verify the payment of salaries to DIB, and Temporary Staff as well as to ensure proper reporting of costs as per management and Audit requirement.
Handle all payroll related activities, files, salary variance reports, BO Reports and provide explanations where required to process error-free payroll for DIB and others as well as to handle & solve all payroll related issues / queries if any.
Handle Processing accurate salary for temporary staff, manual payroll & transfer of funds to Overseas Representative Offices as well as other payroll related transactions as per schedule
Assist the Head of department in all automation projects by providing and documenting business requirements and conducting testing required.
Maintain regular statistical and management reports on costs, payments, employee salaries
Verify Daily payment voucher prepared by Employee Services and Prepare KMP for DIB as required by Finance.
Verify New Joiners Personal Files, Change of Status & Payroll Reports
Handle processing Budget, Man Power Planning as required by Recruitment as well as Employees with Delinquent payments in coordination with Collection & SAM & IT.
Assist Head of Employee Services in updating HR Policy related to the unit.
Work on developing and simplifying Employee Services areas as instructed by Head of Employee Services.
Work on Auditors Observations and complete the requirements as requested.
Work on ORMS and complete all related requirements.
Supervise to update performance bonus and annual increments cycle in coordination with P & R
All the above accountabilities includes but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
Work Experience: Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in Payroll & HRMS.
