A KEMRI-CCR Clinical Trials Research Project based in Thika is currently conducting a clinical trial and is looking for motivated individuals to fill in the following positions:

Reports to: Study coordinator
Job Purpose: To assist clients navigate through public health facilities including the Comprehensive Care Center.
Duties and Responsibilities
Organize and guide clients through the various service points
Identify and resolve physical barriers to access of PrEP
Assist the facility staff in scheduling and tracking follow up of clients on PrEP
Liaise with the health facility staff to ensure project activities are conducted as scheduled
Provide project management team with regular feedback on field activities
Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Education and experience qualifications
College diploma in Counselling, Social Work or any other related field
Experience offering HIV Testing Services, including HIV self-testing will be an added advantage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent organizational skills
Good interpersonal skills
Terms of Employment
Employment is on a one year renewable contract with a probation period for the first 3 months. Salary is negotiable within the appropriate grade depending on education, experience and demonstrated competency
