Outdoor Sales Representative (Household Department)- Nairobi Outdoor Sales Representative (Household Department)- Western Outdoor Sales Representative (Household Department)- Central Outdoor Sales Representative (Household Department)- Mombasa

Overall Purpose: 

The job holder will be responsible for achieving sales volume and value targets, driving market share, activation of targeted accounts, trade and channel development as well as managing and servicing existing outlets while prospecting and developing new accounts with a focus on building long term customer relationships and increasing sales revenue.

Duties & Responsibilities

Generate and facilitate orders for overall sales revenue growth
Manage stocks in all allocated outlets and ensure their availability.
Ascertain that all products are clean, well displayed, positioned in strategic high traffic areas and are sold at correct recommended retail price.
List any available products in the outlets as per customer size; and continually seek to increase product range in the outlets handled.
Assess market share of the company products
compared similar products sold by customers by competitors and do price comparisons.
Provide customers feedback regarding complaints or suggestions: and track progress of the same to ensure customer satisfaction.
Submit timely and accurate reports

Expected Skills, Competencies & Qualifications

A minimum of degree in Sales & Marketing or a related field from a reputable institution.
They must have a degree/diploma/certificate in Sales & Marketing or a related field from a reputable institution.
Should have at least 1-2 years of experience, preferably handling household items, cups, plates, mugs, flasks etc.
Proven experience in the Modern trade (MT) and General trade (GT) business.
Familiarity with competitor brands/products.
Posses ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Be proficient in customer relationship management.
Posses ability to work in an extremely high-pressure high accountability environment.
Have a demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively to costumers.
