Qualifications

A university degree in Accounting or equivalent educational qualification
At least two years audit experience
Understanding of gas station operations is preferred
Certificate of Good Conduct is mandatory.
Computer literacy.

Job Role

Reporting on operations to senior management
Resolving issues to ensure operations continue 24/7
Carrying out daily reconciliation of sales with all payment receipts
Identifying trends in sales and variances in order to improve business and systems.
Performing daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of stocks in the tanks against received stocks and pump sales
Preparing daily, weekly and monthly performance reports for management review
Analyzing of daily stock variances for management review
Query audit findings and closing or escalating any audit queries
Daily auditing of petty cash handling by each station against approved expenditure and receipts as evidence of expenditure
Managing SAP tasks related to the stations
Carrying-out impromptu operational checks at the gas stations and ensuring that they are all in compliance with the laid down company policies and procedures
