What You’ll Be Doing
Logistics and warehousing management
Sourcing of gear (helmets, reflective vests, phones and more) from suppliers across the globe and shipping it to our cities.
Managing the logistics, costs, taxes and timelines involved with delivery logistics.
You will be expected to own and manage relationships with all the stakeholders involved in getting the gear to our cities.
Distribution
The gear will be dispensed through a network of distribution centres. You will set up and manage distribution centres in more than 10 cities in East Africa.
You will ensure proper flow of gear into these distribution centres.
You will build and manage a scalable gear tracking system, recording which driver has been issued with what gear, and keep accurate stock checks.
Tracking financial and operational metrics across the supply chain
Desired Skills and Experience
3+ years experience with upstream shipping and logistics operations
3+ years experience with consumer-facing supply chain and distribution operations
We will be seeking very hands on experience, we need experience where you had personal direct responsibility for managing an extensive and reasonably complex supply chain.
A strong analytical mindset, you should be able to break down complex questions and processes into simple, easy to understand quantitative questions. Advanced skills in
Excel modelling a requirement.
