Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Strategy and Execution:

Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals.
Oversee day-to-day operations of manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, and quality assurance departments.
Streamline processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of department managers and operational staff.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to ensure high standards of performance and professional development.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures.
Analyze financial data and operational metrics to make informed decisions and drive profitability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of operational strategies with overall business objectives.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to optimize procurement processes and maintain strong business relationships.

Integrator Role (for CEO):

Act as the primary liaison between the CEO and department heads, ensuring clear communication and alignment of priorities.
Facilitate leadership team meetings, setting agendas, and driving action items to achieve strategic goals.
Help establish and maintain organizational clarity by documenting and refining processes and systems.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management within the furniture manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of wood and metal fabrication processes.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower teams to achieve operational excellence.
Strategic thinker with a track record of successfully implementing process improvements and achieving cost savings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across departments and external partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus
