Job Purpose:
Responsible for enhancing the internal organization processes and infrastructure that will allow Camusat to continue to grow and fulfill its mission,
Compliance with All EHS Rules and regulations of the organization.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The OD Kenya will manage the following functions:
Legal, Compliance & Contract management:
Advise the business on statutory regulation that govern the industry and ensure all are up to date.
Understand and adhere to Camusat contracts with customers,
Customer Management:
Understand customer expectation with regards to delivery and quality.
Align with customer delivery schedule.
Review monthly Camusat performance with customers.
Understand and align with anticipated revenue per customer per quarter.
Delivery of service:
Deliver full RFI (PAC) for tower construction as per client requirement.
Network build within stipulated SLA.
Customer connection within day SLA.
Maintain 99% Network uptime
Maintain stipulated SLAs for Network restoration.
Performance Management:
EHS Management.
Quality Management.
Time/efficiency management.
Financial management – Margin assurance based on business approved margin & Revenue assurance
Develop KPIs for all operation teams.
Team Management
Key role in technical recruitment within Camusat, ensure critical skills are present in the organization to meet customer needs: Engineering design skills (structural design, FO design skills, network planning active and passive, power design skills grid and solar, civil engineering skills, structural engineering skills, fiber termination & commissioning skills, FTTx rollout skills, power and electrical skills (ERC qualified)
Team configuration: Ensure teams are optimally dimensioned with correct skill sets to exceed client requirements.
Identify operation teams training needs and coordinate with HR. Anticipate and prepare future training needs in line with business needs and growth.
Activities to be delegated:
Day to day operations to be delegated to PMs, OD to provide guidance on planning and efficiency.
Day to day EHS monitoring to be delegated to EHS manager but monitored closely.
Weekly planning to be delegated to PM, OD to validate
P&L preparation to be delegated, however OD to review and ensure P&L meets Camusat expectation.
Initial training and Required experiences
Minimum of a MBA Business Management,
Strong operational experience in Telecommunications: ideally has worked in a senior management role for 10+ years in a socially responsible organization with progressive experience leading to at least 5 years’ experience in operational/administrative management.
