Online Marketing Executive

Requirements
A vacancy has arisen for an Online Marketing Executive based in the Nairobi office, you will support Marketing operations within various branches as may be required.
The purpose of this role is to support the relevant East African businesses in their sales performance by generating/hitting an agreed sales inquiry target using a collection of digital channels. You will own (and help continue to build our brand(s) in the process
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Website Management & Enrichment; tasks include;

SEO performance vs targeted score as well as identified competitors
Working within template constraints to give site visitors the best possible site experience
Growth of organic visitors / sessions vs target
Site speed vs google aspirational targets
Delivery of content programme which is in line with marketing strategic goals
Monthly updates to the website
Establish a blog with new content
Weekly review of site in SEO tool like SEM rush for independent performance review
Tactical fixing of problems
Ensuring pages set up correctly with metadata descriptions / correct use of keywords
Support local visibility programme
Website and intranet maintenance
Traffic monitoring and growth plan
Link building
Online competitor analysis
Keyword research

Paid search

Build, optimise and manage PPC campaigns (including optimisation of campaigns to lower CPA)

Social Media

Build and manage social media schedule
Creating and sharing business posts proactively, at least twice a week – after approvals
Monitoring social media for competitor mentions / competitor activity
Monitoring social media for any RI business mentions, particularly if complaints are raised – and responding to those complaints wtihin 24hrs then sharing with the relevant internal departments

Google MyBusiness

Set up of pages for each branch as well a service area
Ensure branch/service area details are correct
Weekly posting of new content
Respond to any reviews left within 24hrs
Goal of our pages appearing in the top 3 results with the map
Work with Marketers / the business to get a steady trickle of reviews each week

Reporting

Produce slides showing performance of prior month’s performance & coming month’s priorities for monthly KPI deck

Online reputation management with feedback & online branding

Respond to any reviews left within 2hrs *if not quicker, particularly if it’s a 1* review) and then share details with appropriate internal departments

Site issues

Ensure JIRA tickets raised quickly for any site issues and then closed once tickets resolved
Adhoc web-related projects

Relevant Marketing related degree/ diploma
Successful track record in online marketing management
