Office Workdays & Optional Team Hangout Next Week Project Planning, Reporting & Control Analyst

To support the execution, monitoring, and reporting of EPC projects. This role involves maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and optimizing workflows to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery

KPIs:

Schedule Adherence: Ensure project schedules are updated with at least 95% accuracy, minimizing deviations.
Critical Path Monitoring: Identify and mitigate 90% of critical path risks before they impact the timeline.
Reporting Accuracy: Maintain a 98% accuracy rate in progress reports and variance analyses.
Cost Control Efficiency: Support project teams in keeping budget variances within ±5% of forecasted costs.
Stakeholder Satisfaction: Achieve 80%+ positive feedback from internal teams on reporting clarity and schedule insights.
Process Improvement: Implement at least one major scheduling or reporting optimization initiative per quarter.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure 100% compliance with project contractual obligations (e.g., FIDIC timelines).
Data Visualization & Insights: Deliver monthly performance dashboards with actionable insights for senior management.

Activities:

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring synchronization between design, procurement, and construction activities.
Conduct trend analysis, critical path analysis, and progress variance reporting.
Collaborate with financial teams to align scheduling with cost forecasting and profitability analysis
Provide real-time project tracking and develop data visualization dashboards for enhanced reporting.
Identify potential scheduling issues and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays.
Support procurement and logistics planning by integrating schedule data with supply chain operations.
Ensure compliance with FIDIC contract timelines and dispute resolution mechanisms.
Maintain a knowledge base of historical project data for performance analysis and process improvements.
Assist in business development efforts by providing project planning insights for new bids and proposals.
Support finance teams and project managers on the preparation and presentation of project financial progress and project costing (actuals vs budget, forecasts, etc) to improve cost tracking accuracy
Knowledge sharing with the project team members to learn, or increase skills in, project scheduling and cost analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Analytics.
 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling and controls within an EPC or renewable energy environment.
