About The Role
The Office Assistant will be responsible for administrative support for the operations team. Should have the ability to collaborate with and support all stakeholders/interfaces.This position requires a team player attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage monthly invoicing and costs breakdown for operations.
Ensure that all meeting rooms have the adequate resources as per the space.
Ensure workspaces have adequate resources: chairs, desks, power connections, monitors, ethernet ports.
Ensure that meeting spaces are used efficiently and effectively.
Allocate new hires worktools when and as they join Andela
Exemplifying customer service traits to Andela employees this includes’ patience, understanding the needs of the employees and addressing them timely, responding to requests on a timely basis.
Maintains office schedule by picking-up and delivering items using automobile.
Recording information as needed.
Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
Coordinating events as necessary.
Maintaining office equipment as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
Must have good interpersonal skills and familiarity
Must work effectively and collaborate with others
Self-motivated and willingness to serve
Ability to execute projects systematically
Proficient in computer applications using Microsoft Office Suite & Google docs, etc.
