Office Administrator

Job Summary

We are searching for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team and provide exceptional support across various administrative tasks. The Office Administrator will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, managing office supplies, data entry, coordinating correspondence, and supporting company operations. Successful applicant will report to Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Manage office operations, ensuring a well-organized and efficient work environment.
Organize and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.
Maintain and update files, records, and databases.
Assist in procurement, inventory management, and office supply orders.
Coordinate meetings, schedules, and travel arrangements.
Process invoices, receipts, and other administrative documents.
Provide logistical and clerical support to various departments.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain office supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.
Assist with the preparation of budgets and expense reports.

Qualifications & Experience

Must have a minimum academic background of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, email)
Experience in the use of ERP systems is an added advantage.

Required:

Organizational and Time management Skills.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Experience in steel manufacturing or related business
Experience in procurement and inventory management
