Nutritionist Sales Representative

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management – Provide overall leadership and direction in production operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Process Oversight – Oversee all production processes and coordinate activities to ensure customer requirements are fully met.
KPI Achievement – Ensure production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met consistently while staying within budgetary constraints.
Quality & Production Planning – Coordinate the production of high-quality products according to agreed plans and within budget.
Target Setting – Establish and adjust production targets based on current conditions and customer needs.
Stock Management – Ensure proper stock levels of materials and spare parts, maintaining an optimum inventory based on demand.
Adherence to Procedures – Enforce strict stock management procedures and controls to prevent inefficiencies or shortages.
Risk Management – Develop and promote a culture of strong risk management practices in production to prevent disruptions and ensure continuous operations.

Key Requirements:

Degree in Food Science, Animal production or related field.
Minimum Six (6) years experience in production and plant operations with at least, three (3) years at supervisory level.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
Understanding statutory and regulatory requirements in feed milling operations.
Good understanding of Food Safety Management Systems and experience in their application in the food industry – Knowledge and good understanding of ISO 22000
In depth knowledge of the working principles of all milling equipment.
Ability to handle crisis situations and manage emergency protocols effectively.
Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and cost control within a milling setting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
