The Nutritionist Intern is responsible to assist in executing all marketing activities as per the scheduled plan prepared. She/he will ensure and enhance product knowledge in the market effectively increasing market share. She/he will give advice and promote on healthy eating habits and develop nutrition plans that will lead to a healthy lifestyle or achieve a specific health-related goal.
Responsibilities
Events:Plan, coordinate and execute marketing events; undertake promotions and consultations of Company products; and promote health awareness and Company products
Execute two marketing events for each allocated sales representative per month, preference given to outlets with high traffic or high sales potential
Execute two marketing events in institutions per month. These can include exhibitions, trade fairs, churches, hospitals, corporates etc.
Plan, coordinate and execute 1 health talk event to target groups addressing a specific health topic as per the specific health needs identified
Outlets & Promotions
Ensure superior category / brand visibility in outlets against competitors Sampling / health awareness campaigns in outlets
Recruit new retail customers through van sales
Plan and execute quarterly marketing events for designated Key Accounts which are to include promotions and health awareness weekends. Ensure products are fully stocked and well displayed prior to promotions starting
Brand Building Recruit and work with strategic partners: including Health professionals, National & County Government & Identify areas for branding
Engaging with social media celebrities
Set clear objectives with identified partners on promotion of health awareness
Content Creation :Develop weekly content to be used on Winnie’s Pure Health Social Media Sites; while maintaining current affairs of what is happening in the food industry
Write two health articles per month of a minimum on 500 words to be used in magazines and WPH website
Develop and maintain WPH Manual of lifestyle diseases and commonly asked questions
Develop customized WPH nutrition plans and promote healthy eating habits
Periodic evaluation and revision of meals plans and nutrition programs established in line with the identified health goal
Conduct and maintain research on health, diet and nutritional data and ensure that revision of Company articles is done based on current established facts
Internal Training : Train all promoters, new members of staff, monthly trainings to production and sales team on: products and customer care; and ensure that pass mark – 80% of product knowledge is consistently attained
Give counsel on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits – every 2 months
Reporting : Generate and submit reports timely to Marketing Executive as per your marketing activities, on the following;
Weekly Report
One health articles per month
Daily reporting at marketing events through established channel
Generate analysis reports on health awareness talks and impact realized
Monthly calendar
