RESPONSIBILITIES
Assessing, planning implementing nursing interventions, monitoring and evaluating patient’s outcomes;
Providing appropriate healthcare service including Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care and delivery,
Providing health education and counselling to patients/clients
Escalate patients and clients appropriately;
Facilitating patients’ admission and initiating discharge plans;
Ensuring patients/clients safety and adhere to infection prevention protocols and safe clinical environment;
Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
Administering prescribed medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
QUALIFICATION
Diploma in Nursing from a reputable institution.
BLS and ACLS is an added advantage.
Experience in clinical audit is an added advantage.
Must be registered with the nursing council and possess a current license.
Minimum working experience of THREE (3) years in a busy health institution.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff. Basic computer skills.
Professional, friendly attitude.
