Job Summary:
The Nurse Assistant will work collaboratively with the other clinicians mainly in a supportive role at Caremax to ensure that clients receive the highest quality of care.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport and providing psychological support.
Promotes adherence to infection-control policies and protocols and storage procedures.
Documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Documenting patient care services by charting and using electronic medical records system.
Taking and documenting vital signs and weight measurements
Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients within the facility if needed.
Prepares daily reports and other reports as requested.
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Certificate in Nursing from a reputable University or College
At least 2 years’ experience as a nurse assistant / aide
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills; pays attention to detail
Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work effectively with a team in a culturally diverse environment
