Networking Sales Specialist

Job description
8+ years’ experience of selling Enterprise Networking solutions either in one of the OEMs or one of their primary channel partners in Central Africa.
Strong understanding of positioning Fabric/WLAN networking solutions and SDN technology for various verticals
Solid global and local market knowledge and relationships with large customers
Experience in dealing with multi dollar deals
Be able to drive Avaya’s networking business in the territory, including direct sales, channel strategy and enablement, and internal co-ordination with the networking business unit.
Able to integrate into the local sales organization and support them to achieve the territory’s networking objectives.
Technical background with strong technology understanding but at the same time be able to communicate have good sales experience in closing a deal
Nationality: Any so long as they can gain entry/work visa
Language: Fluent in English. French / Arabic is a plus.
Based in Kenya or Nigeria
Regular travel across African continent – 50% of their time will travelling meeting clients.
