Responsibilities for the Network Cordinator Job
Providing strategic vision, leadership and overall responsibility for all aspects of the program’s development, implementation, and management.
Ensuring formulation and successful implementation of the Eastern Africa Harm reduction network strategic plan and advocacy strategy.
Building and sustaining effective partnerships with government, like-minded organizations and other civil societies.
Providing effective and efficient management of human, financial and information management resources.
Ensuring all staff are effectively using the performance planning and management system, establishing performance expectations and regularly providing constructive feedback.
Identifying sources of strategic resources required by the organization to fulfill its mission and providing direction to program staff on proposal development.
Leading in exploring, forecasting and advising the management team and the Board on the needs of the organization, and grant making trends.
Monitor program progress and performance in relation to established work plans and objectives and ensure corrective measures are taken as required.
Creating an enabling environment by focusing on knowledge sharing, capacity building and team building in the workplace
Qualifications for the Network Cordinator Job
Masters Degree in Public Health or Social Work or Psychology or Law or Development Studies or Strategic Management related discipline.
Post Graduate Degree training in Development Studies, Sociology, Community Development, Program management or any other related discipline.
Five years in a Senior Management level with at least three years in Harm Reduction and or HIV and AIDS Management field and has a good working relation with the East African Community (EAC) and the eight Eastern Africa countries namely Burundi, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Seychelles, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Uganda and Development Partners.
