National Operations Manager

The CSS National Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient delivery of the full spectrum of cash in transit operations across the country. This includes planning and delivery of cash services, together with the logistical management required to ensure all operations receive sufficient resources to support revenue earning activities. The CSS NOM also carries a significant responsibility with regard to security. Together with the Cash Security Manager, he is responsible for ensuring operational security processes are complied with at all times on the ground during operations. The CSS NOM is responsible for monitoring and coordination of all live operations to ensure that customers are fully satisfied.

We are looking for a senior operations management person responsible for the efficient and secure handling of cash in transit (CIT), ATM, and related services across a large region. Key duties include:

Overall operational leadership: Managing all aspects of a complex cash handling business.
Logistics & Scheduling: Optimizing routes and schedules for CIT and ATM operations.
Performance Monitoring: Overseeing productivity in CIT, ATM, cash processing, and foreign currency operations.
Customer Relations: Maintaining strong relationships, especially with banks.
Security & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to security protocols and operational controls.
Resource Management: Managing vehicle fleets, fuel consumption, and consumable supplies.

Knowledge and Qualifications

Diploma.
Strong communication skills and problem solving skills.
Strong planning organizing and analytical skills.

Experience

Ten years in Operations management dealing with customers and front line employees.

This role requires a candidate with:

Strong Technical Skills: Including advanced Excel, proficiency in relevant ERP and logistics software, and financial acumen for budget management and analysis.
Effective Management and Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, drive performance, and resolve conflicts.
Strategic Thinking and Execution: Capability to translate strategy into operational plans, along with a strong customer focus and collaborative approach.
