National Analyst Program – Nairobi

Your Responsibilities

Conducting desk research to support development of research, monitoring, and evaluation methodologies and reports.
Quantitative and/or qualitative analysis of interviews, large-scale surveys, focus-group discussions, and other data collection modes.
Contributing to drafting proposals for new projects.
Contributing to project and methodology design (including scoping, sampling, instrument development, and analytical frameworks).
Conducting interviews with relevant stakeholders.
Drafting presentations and written reports.
Providing administrative support and input to internal strategic processes.

Main Competencies

Bachelor´s degree or higher in economics, political science, international development, international law, or similar field
Excellent written and spoken English; Swahili or Arabic skills are a strong asset.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of personal initiative, accountability, and a strong work ethic
Intellectual curiosity and inquisitiveness
Cultural awareness, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
Strong academic record and excellent writing skills
Demonstrated interest in international issues, M&E, and research
Results-oriented mindset
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience with statistical and visualization software (SPSS, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI) is a strong asset
