About this opportunity:
The role involves driving domain sales and supporting the KAM organization to position Ericsson as a preferred partner. Responsibilities include identifying strategic leads, collaborating with various Customer Units to develop compliant business solutions, and delivering benchmarking solutions using Ericsson’s insights. The individual should be highly motivated, experienced in Managed Services, and possess strong commercial awareness, recognized as an expert in the MS domain both internally and with customers.
This role is reasonably flexible for hiring across any location in Africa.
What you will do:
Engage with customers on MS offerings, support local CU/KAM in sales engagement. (CSR in core-3)
Enable and entertain an open business dialogue with (potential) MS customers on their current position, vision and strategy, their opportunities and challenges; the values and benefits the Ericsson MS offering brings related to the above
Negotiate and close business deals.
Build and maintain customer relationships on C-level.
Support the CU/KAMs in formulating the MS strategy and engagement plans leading to the defined targets.
Proactively drive pre-sales MS engagements with CU/KAMs
Pro-actively support (e.g. CSR in core-3) in developing attractive MS offerings
Support in the sales process and in preparing SDPs (up-to SDP3).
Lead projects with notable risk and complexity, and developing the strategy for project execution, lead virtual teams.
Where needed, support red-team reviews and guide on-going MS sales activities from an outside-in perspective.
Ensure that PA roadmaps are aligned with Regional Portfolio offering
Establish and maintain the MS Contract Retention and Growth plan, securing the fulfillment of its objectives and driving actions whenever necessary.
Ensure price, margin and other terms and conditions in line with company guidelines.
Conduct annual accounts planning sessions
Bridge between Account, Domain & BU organizations
Lead large proposals including definition of the scope, team design and pricing. Guide, direct and lead proposal efforts
The skills you bring:
Degree in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer science, Telecommunication
Total Experience: min 15 years experience in Telecom Industry
Proven experience in a Sales role for Managed Services solutions involving multiple networks & IT domains
Excellent understanding of industry frameworks and models for operational business
Analytical and synthesis capabilities
Good Understanding of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Cloud technologies
Strong knowledge of Services and customer segmentation
Good understanding of data analytics models used in operations management
Strong knowledge of Ericsson Sales Process and Ericsson Delivery Process or similar sales/project delivery models
Strong knowledge on commercial and Managed Services business models
Proven knowledge and understanding of Managed Services Delivery Platform solutions
Strong understanding of the MSN financials model
Excellent understanding of industry frameworks and models for operational business
