Motorcycle Assembly Technician

JOB PURPOSE

As Motorcycle Assembly Technician, you will be for assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of electric motorcycle is maintained. You will be required to have technical expertise, precision, and adherence to safety standards to produce reliable best quality electric motorcycles.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assemble electric motorcycles according to assembly instructions, while observing the standard operating procedures.
Install and connect various motorcycle components, including motors, batteries, controllers, wiring, and frame parts.
Ensure all components are securely fitted and function correctly.
Quality Control, perform thorough inspections during and after assembly to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify and rectify defects or issues in the assembly process.
Electrical and Mechanical Testing, conduct electrical tests to verify proper installation and functionality of electrical systems.
Perform mechanical tests to ensure the integrity and performance of assembled motorcycles.
Troubleshooting and Repairs, Diagnose and repair issues related to electrical and mechanical components.
Utilize torquing, diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively.
Safety and Compliance, adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Reporting, Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, test results, self certification and any deviations from standard procedures.
Continuous Improvement, participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Provide feedback and suggestions for process optimization.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAITS

Certificate/Diploma in automotive or motorcycle assembly.  Or equivalent technical certification in automotive technology, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred.
OSHA or other safety certifications related to vehicle manufacturing and assembly will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in motorcycle assembly, automotive manufacturing, or a related field.
Proficiency in assembling and testing electric motorcycles or similar vehicles
Experience with mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with torque tools, diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
Attention to detail and a high degree of precision
Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills for reporting and documentation.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual dexterity for small component assembly. Capability to lift and handle motorcycle parts and related equipment.
