Provide motor rewinding and maintenance services for improved machine reliabilities
Motor Winder Job Responsibilities
Receive, inspect and rewind electric motors as delivered by the various factories.
Provide failure analysis and test reports for motors being rewound
Participate in motor loading inspections in the factories.
Any other duties as assigned by your superior
Requirements For Motor Winder Job
Technical knowledge in rewinding process.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in motor rewinding as a rewinding technician
Minimum education in electrical – artisans grade or certificate/diploma
Should be experienced in 3phase and single phase, AC and DC generator, motor rewinding
Should be knowledgeable in rewinding material’s, component’s, tools and equipment’s
Additional qualification – Knowledge in core testing, dielectric test are welcome.
Academic Qualifications
KCSE C- and above or equivalent
Min Certificate in Electrical Engineering
Min Certificate / Craft Motor Rewinding Technology (not mandatory but added advantage)
Work Related Skills
Good communication skills.
Change agility (flexible)
Ability to follow through on defined tasks
Good record keeping skills
Must be a team player
Minimum Gross 30K
