Role Overview:
As a MICE Executive, you will be responsible for driving the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) segment at Novotel Nairobi Westlands. Your primary focus will be on developing and nurturing relationships with corporate clients and event organizers to secure MICE business for the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and organizers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to maximize MICE sales and revenue.
Conduct regular sales calls, presentations, and hotel site inspections for potential clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and promotional packages.
Track and report on MICE performance and market trends.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of MICE events.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in MICE sales or a related field within the hospitality industry.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Highly self-driven with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients.
Familiarity with the MICE market in Nairobi and East Africa is a plus.
