Reports To: Head of Sales and Marketing
Job Purpose: The position is required to work closely with customers to find out what they want, create solutions and ensure their goods get to them in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
Daily reconciliation with the accounts team on sales achieved.
Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
Ensure the correct products are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
Escalate any issues and problems faced by customers and ensure they are resolved.
Generate new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationship.
Prepare weekly reports of progress and forecasts.
Sales: an overall sales of KES2,500,000 in 2 months.
Weekly reports of the customer trade visits ought to be submitted.
Visit at least 20 customers daily.
Ensure sales of at least 45,000KES per day.
Ensure the customers get their correct order and in a timely manner
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for this Role
Diploma or a certificate in related course. Experienced marketers will be given preference.
At least 1 – 2 years’ experience
Experience in an alcoholic and non-alcoholic industry will be an added advantage
Valid driving licence
Police Clearance Certificate
Strong business development and marketing skills
Have strong communication skills and negotiating skills
Ability to work under minimum supervision
Someone who can demonstrate high levels of integrity, honesty
Ability to set realistic targets and meet them
