Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a Medical Sales Representative who has years of experience in pharmaceutical consumer-focused and technology-driven businesses. This candidate enjoys a fast-paced working environment and must have the capability to monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage, is professional and collaborative and able to work with sales team to develop strategies and implement pharmaceutical brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message on specifically pharmaceutical products. We are looking for someone who thinks big, excited about taking into a new market, a self-starter that looks for solutions first and who values honest and transparent communication.
The ideal candidate is passionate about disrupting access to women’s health products and services and bold enough to speak publicly about critical issues concerning women in the world today. The individual in this role will be relentlessly focused on improving the Kasha customer experience for Kenyan consumers of all socioeconomic levels while driving strong business results specifically on pharmaceutical products and working together with a high performing team.
Responsibilities
As the Kasha Medical Sales Representative, you will be expected to build on positive trust relationships with existing health partners networks and markert Kasha as a health company, stay informed about the activities of health services by conducting pop-up activities that would essentially drive pharmaceutical orders, organize appointments and meetings with community and hospital-based healthcare in the process that would bring business for Pharmaceutical products, demonstrate and present products to healthcare staff including doctors and nurses to get their buy in, train other Kasha staff members on pharmaceutical products and their particular ordering process cycles to maintain standard quality for Kasha.
Other responsibilities include:

Deliver regular reports and updates, as well as key learnings, wins, failures and best practices.
Proactively communicate opportunities and customer feedback back to internal stakeholders and peers.

Knowledge in product, competition and market.
Effective planner, disciplined and focused.

Desired Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate for this position has the following qualities:

Qualifications in B. Sc in Biomedical Sciences Or Diploma in  Biomedical Sciences /Pharmacy /Nursing from a recognized institution.
Ability and discipline to remain focused on set goals with great passion for sales and marketing.
Previous experience in pharmaceutical marketing is an added advantage with at least 2 years in pharma/medical detailing.
An eye for opportunity with potential for further development.
Experience working in a start-up technology company strongly preferred.
Passionate about social issues, especially in the area of women’s health.
Computer skills is essential for making presentations, sales analysis with MS Excel.
Fluency in Swahili and English is a must.
