Job Description
The job holder will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and systems. They will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of various mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.
Diagnose faults or malfunctions and perform corrective actions on mechanical systems.
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop solutions for improving equipment performance.
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation of machinery and equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot issues.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work, as well as parts and materials used.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance procedures.

Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven seven (5) years’ experience working as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong commitment to safety standards and regulations.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience working in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
Certification in relevant mechanical systems or technologies.
Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
