Role Summary
The Marketing, PR, and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the club’s brand, engage current and potential members, and promote the club’s services and events. Reporting to the Club Secretary, this individual will oversee all marketing, public relations, and communication efforts to ensure consistent messaging, drive membership growth, and elevate the club’s reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing
Develop and execute an annual marketing plan aligned with the club’s strategic goals.
Drive campaigns to attract new members while retaining and engaging the existing membership base.
Identify target audiences and create tailored content across multiple platforms.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI.
Public Relations and Reputation Management
Serve as the primary liaison for media inquiries and public relations activities.
Craft press releases, speeches, and official statements to represent the club.
Build and maintain relationships with local media, influencers, and key stakeholders.
Manage the club’s reputation by addressing public concerns or crises with professionalism.
Communications and Branding
Ensure consistency in the club’s branding, messaging, and tone across all touchpoints.
Produce high-quality content for newsletters, website, brochures, and other promotional materials.
Regularly update members on events, services, and initiatives through engaging communication channels.
Oversee the club’s digital presence, including website updates, email campaigns, and social media.
Event Promotion
Collaborate with the events team to market and promote club events effectively.
Create event-specific campaigns to drive attendance and member participation.
Develop post-event reports to analyze outcomes and refine promotional strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with the Club Secretary and other department heads to align marketing and PR efforts with operational goals.
Build partnerships with external organizations and sponsors to enhance the club’s offerings and visibility.
Act as a brand ambassador at networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions.
Key Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, PR, or communications, preferably within the hospitality or luxury sector.
Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns and media relations.
