The position
As a Marketing Manager Value, you will oversee the development and execution of the value portfolio strategy for Modern Insulin (MI), New-generation insulin (NGI), Glucagon Like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) and Rare Disease portfolios. You will prepare the launch activity process for new products, ensuring a successful launch and execution in the three business units. You will create a mid- to long-term marketing strategy, prioritizing the portfolio and managing the life cycle of different products.
Your other responsibilities will be:
Coordinate the development of tactical plans to achieve business unit objectives and allocate promotional budgets accordingly.
Lead a cross-functional working group to align and collaborate on the Game plan process for the value business in Middle Africa.
Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy to increase demand and identify additional sales channels.
Collaborate closely with BU Heads, Commercial Effectiveness Manager, Product Managers, and the medical team to deliver patient reach for the value portfolio.
Manage multiple market capture projects and engage stakeholders to achieve the Middle Africa ambition of reaching >75% market capture with the value portfolio.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Bachelor’s degree in life science, business, marketing, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in marketing, business development, market access or similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Experience in diabetes therapeutic is an advantage.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
Fluency in English.
