Marketing Manager

We are seeking to recruit a Marketing Manager who will report to the Managing Director and will be based at the Head Office. He/She will be responsible for 5 Brand Executives.
The purpose of the role of Marketing Manager is to formulates and implements an innovative marketing strategy to increase the visibility of the CFAO Motors brands, in order to grow the market share in Parts, Sales and Service. Additionally, the position coordinates the marketing activities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of service by the department.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of relevant legislations related to the motor industry, sound knowledge of various marketing principles and good analytical skills.
He/she should have the ability to use email campaigns, blogs, forums and social media experience to generate leads and has in-depth understanding analytics and measuring return on investment (ROI).
Main responsibilities for the role include;
Managerial/Supervisory

Coordinate the development and implementation of marketing strategies for CFAO Motors brands (Hino, Yamaha and Toyota, Winparts, Automark and Suzuki) in line with the overall strategic objectives of the company to facilitate achievement of sales targets for the brands
Coordinate the marketing budget for all brands to ensure the allocation of sufficient funds for successful implementation of the marketing strategy
Monitor and control the utilization of the marketing budget in order to support efficiency in the management of costs at CFAO Motors
Develop and implement marketing policies and procedures to ensure adherence to CFAO Motors Limited guidelines and quality standards
Coordinate the development of marketing plans for the CFAO Motors brands to ensure the successful implementation of the marketing strategies for all the brands
Initiate and nurture relationships with all stakeholders to ensure to support the growth of the CFAO Motors customer base
Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities to create synergies between marketing and sales
Coordinate channel marketing strategies and activities to enhance the awareness of the Toyota brands for increased sales
Coordinate the development and implementation of the social media strategies for all the CFAO Motors brands to create an online presence of the brands, and to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy
Monitor customer engagement in the social media platforms for all the CFAO Motors brands to enhance the customer experience for the Toyota customers
Develop and implement a framework for reporting on the return on investment for the various marketing initiatives undertaken by CFAO Motors to ensure timely adjustments on marketing strategy are done for maximum impact
Coordinate internal communication of marketing objectives to ensure all relevant internal stakeholders are well informed for the department to be fully internally supported

Operational Responsibilities

Coordinate the update and marketing of the CFAO Motors website to enhance visibility and traffic in support of e- commerce and brand awareness
Coordinate brand surveys as well as market intelligence and feedback
Review and submit reports on the implementation of the marketing strategies and work plans
Guide the team in the development of marketing and promotional materials
Oversee preparation for and roll out of new product launches to meet set targets
Supervise the development of marketing concepts and brand offering to deliver a superior purchasing experience to CFAO Motors customers for enhanced customer acquisition
Conduct periodical reviews of the marketing plans to ensure the plans are aligned with the corporate CFAO Motors marketing strategy

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
 Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role

Bachelors’ Degree in a Business related field from a recognized institution
Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Marketing
Certification in Strategic Management and Leadership

Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role

Ten years working experience in a relevant field from a reputable organization
Experience in developing and implementing business development strategy
