Job Purpose;
To understand consumers, develop marketing strategies/plans, and manage brands to ensure market competitiveness
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Defining and managing category marketing strategies, identifying key insights from competitor, consumer, and category analysis.
Managing all the marketing activities for the organization and providing guidance to other sections within the business regarding branding and marketing.
Evaluating brand performance in the market and identifying improvement opportunities based on the analysis.
Developing overall yearly marketing strategy and defining the offering and customer’s value proposition.
Conducting market research to assist in the development of new products and also formulating promotions/Sales strategies.
Keeping track of Weekly CPI and also monthly KPI scores.
Establishing and managing marketing budgets for designing and executing brand and product marketing programs for effective positioning of products.
Managing suppliers and formulating standards for various market expenses as well as being in charge of approvals for the daily expenses including the claims.
Developing and deploying annual marketing plans for all brands and developing a brand identity.
Initiate and execute the projects, plans and share reports.
Planning and implementing marketing activation activities in new markets
Providing leadership, guiding, mentoring and identifying training opportunities for the development of the employees in both the Sales and Marketing sections.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or any relevant field
A minimum of 5 years’ in brand or Marketing Manager Position, 2 of which must be in FMCG Industry.
Must have managed a team
