Job Details
Monitors, maintains, and gauges fuel in tanks, tanker trucks and, collapsible bladders on tactical fuel farms. Performs usage calculations and maintains fuel levels to meet mission requirements. Prepares and verifies receiving and/or fuel shipping documents; visually inspects fuel samples and checks API gravity and temperature. Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs on tactical fuel systems and fuel tanker trucks. Familiar with the hazards of petroleum products, such as safe fuel-handling procedures, the dangers of static electricity, and grounding & bonding. Maybe responsible for oversight and leading the work of subcontract workers. Skills normally acquired through use of military tactical fuel distribution systems and fuel accountability paperwork procedures. Three (3) years of prior experience in petroleum storage and distribution operations and fuel systems maintenance. Must be capable of operating a standard drive transmission (Stick Shift 5 Speed).Position requires a high school diploma, a minimum of three (3) years military fuel operations experience or equivalent experience in the civilian sector of fuel operations as described within.

Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
