Manager Logistics

Key Purpose Statement
To lead the implementation of the business plan and have oversight of the execution through synchronized and effective Manufacturing, Warehousing, Fleet, customer collaboration and Distribution plans. To implement the logistics transformational projects to deliver the strategic priorities of long term growth, leveraging scale and building fundamental capabilities
Key Duties & Responsibilities    

Implement an effective Logistics Strategy and Business plan based on diagnosis, analysis, insight and expertise in Distribution, Warehouse, Fleet and Cold Drink Equipment principles
Oversee the execution of Warehouse, Secondary and Primary Distribution, Fleet, CDE and customer collaboration in the plant to ensure productivity
Provide leadership to accomplish company goals and objectives
Manage stakeholder relationship
Manage the overall logistics budget and allocation of funds according to plan

Skills, Experience & Education    
Experience

Minimum 10 years logistics experience
Minimum of 8 years people management experience
Advanced knowledge in logistics and business software systems
Experience and/or exposure in sales or manufacturing will be an added advantage
Knowledge of logistics operations in FMCG organizations
Project management skills and experience

Education

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or any other Business related course
Professional Certification will be an added advantage
Masters degree will be an added advantage
