Key Responsibilities
Preparation of accurate and timely management accounts for review
with explanations and variances.
Prepare and circulate the production reports as per the agreed timelines.
Preparation of quarterly and annual IRA returns.
Timely reconciliation and analysing of allocated ledger accounts.
Preparation and maintenance of an accurate Fixed Asset Register and ensuring depreciation expense is posted on a monthly basis.
Preparation of financial budgets and forecasts.
Authorization of payments within the agreed turnaround times.
Reconciliation and analysis of reinsurance accounts.
Preparation and circulation of monthly branch profitability reports.
Preparation of monthly management expense variance reports with explanations.
Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes
Bachelor of Commerce degree from a recognised University.
Holder of CPA-K qualification.
A minimum of 2 years progressive experience in a similar role.
